  • I get a "Login failed" message every time I try to download my team data. I am sure that I have entered my "User name" and "Password" correctly. What am I doing wrong?

    • You should be always logging in with your “Security code” instead of your password.

    Security code is your second password which only allows reading operations from hattrick.org. You will not be able download any of your team data with Hattrick Forever until you set your own security code.

    4.2.0.76 and later versions of Hattrick Forever use this security code for downloading your team data. If you use your password instead of your security code you will see a "Login failed" message every time you try.

    IMPORTANT: After a number of wrong login trials your team gets locked automatically.

     

  • I have used my password instead of my security code and now I cannot login to hattrick.org either. What am I supposed to do now?

    • Most probably, your team has been locked due to consecutive login failures.

    You should immediately mail to your local GM and tell the situation briefly. Please keep in mind that you are not the only person whose team had got locked because of "password" and "security code" confusion.
